Twisted Pine takes two medals at the Colorado State Fair!

Twisted Pine Brewing Company won a Gold medal for Northstar Imperial Porter and a Bronze medal for Le Petit Saison last weekend at the Colorado State Fair. It is the second medal for Imperial Porter the fair has awarded, Imperial Porter is a deep, robust 9% abv Baltic-Style porter that shines with age. Le Petit Saison, a new release for Twisted Pine, is a natural, pure Belgium-style farmhouse ale. This is the first award for Le Petit Saison, and the 16th and 17th for our brewery.

Poison Fish is Back!

Poison Fish is officially on tap again at the Ale House.  Enjoy this Brown and Blonde Ale with fresh ginger, wasabi and horseradish adjuncts.  While it won’t poison you, it will certainly taint your taste buds and is not for the tame.  Poison Fish is back by popular demand and should be on tap through March..

Peppermint Paddy Stout gets tapped for St. Paddy’s Day!

Come to the Ale House tonight and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us at the best pre-party in town!  Forget the green beer and join us for the tapping of PEPPERMINT PADDY STOUT!  This unique pepermint and chocolate stout is served with a rim of crushed thin mints, pours an opaque, deep black color and tastes like an alcoholic Girl Scout cookie… yum!

The Ale House is open from 3pm-9pm tonight.

March Madness at Twisted Pine!

This “lover’s stout” is a handcrafted balance of some of mankind’s favorite flavors and is designed to cunjure up some mighty sweet thoughts. 

Hoppy Man Imperial IPA Hits the Shelves

Twisted Pine releases Hoppy Man - a 10.5% Imperial India Pale Ale.   The culmination of Cascade, Chinook and Simcoe hops give this IPA an unbelievably manly hop strength!  Try a glass straight from the tap at our Ale House,  Oskar Blues Liquids and Solids or the Rackhouse in Denver.  Look for 22oz bombers in your favorite liquor store or buy one at the brewery.  There’s a good chance one sip of this well-balanced IPA will leave you craving more, so grab it while you can, this seasonal ale won’t be around forever!

Sustainability in the Brewery

At Twisted Pine we see ourselves as part of the local community.  As a strong supporter of sustainable business practices here are a few of the measures we have implemented in our brewery:

• Twisted Pine has been partially offset by wind power since 2000

• Our 6-pack carriers are made of 100% recycled cardboard

• Spent grain from the brewing of our beers is fed to local cattle
  
  
• All cardboard and paper packaging is recycled

• Cold water used to cool down our hot wort before fermentation is pumped back into our Hot Liquor Tank.  This aids in water conservation and reduces the need to heat this water from tap temperature to mash temperature.

• Employees are encouraged to ride their bikes to work

• We are a long time supporter of Resource Yard used building materials

• The majority of the equipment at Twisted Pine has had a past life in another US brewery

Enjoy live music from Ben Jordan while you grab a sample or pint of this seasonal spiced ale, served with whipped cream on top.                                                                                                       Don’t worry, if pumpkin isn’t your favorite flavor we have 14 other ales on tap sure to satisfy your taste buds!
